Sarah constable, student volunteer
Sarah is in her final semester of Capilano University's Bachelor of Tourism Management program. She also holds a diploma from BCIT in Tourism Marketing. Sarah is travel enthusiast who fell in love with exploring the world on her first trip to Mexico in 2004. Since then, she has traveled throughout 27 countries; most recently spending a year abroad backpacking throughout Southeast Asia and living in Australia. On her last journey, she had the chance to visit Sapa and stay in a local home stay. She was very inspired by how the locals were using CBT to create real benefits for their community. From this experience, she decided to complete her graduating research project on the topic of sustainable CBT development within Southeast Asia. This project has fostered her interest in sustainable tourism and how it can be used as a tool to create positive changes for communities worldwide.
Sarah is incredibly excited about being a part of the 2016 CBT Vietnam team and looks forward to investing her passion, knowledge and determination into the continued success of the project.
