Having spent the last few years traveling at every given chance, Sam has found a passion with tourism and a love for exploring new communities and cultures. Sam started in the adventure side of tourism as a scuba diving instructor and is slowly making the transition to sustainability and the destination marketing organization side. Having returned to Capilano University after taking a two year break to live in the Caribbean and travel across Canada, Sam entered the Tourism Management degree program unsure as where it would take her. After the opportunity for a variety of courses plus the ability to complete a co-op in Jasper National Park, Sam soon found the path that brought her to the CBT Vietnam project and her future career path.
Sam is quick to meet people and befriend the world. Having people from around the globe sleep on her couch at passing times, Sam is constantly having friends come visit or stop over in Vancouver. With a deep passion with the ocean, Sam enjoys scuba diving, dragon boating, outrigger and working for a whale watching company.
