NGUYEN THI THAO, FACULTY VOLUNTEER
Working as an English lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism, Hanoi Open University, Thao has traveled a lot with her colleagues and her students during their field trips. She has the great interest of exploring new cultures, especially those of ethnic minority communities. Therefore, she often spends her free time backpacking throughout Vietnam. When visiting some mountainous provinces like Ha Giang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Son La, Dak Lak or Lam Dong, she concerned herself with the life of ethnic minority groups in Vietnam. Joining the CBT team will giver her the precious chance to help those people in need of appropriate guidance on economic development via tourism while preserving their unique cultural features.
Being enthusiastic, helpful, responsible and knowledgeable, Thao is willing to participate in voluntary programs in order to help others, satisfy her personal interests and enhance her experience in tourism.
