Natalia pisarek, STUDENT VOLUNTEER

Natalia has an aptitude for soaking up information. She loves learning about cultures and examining how services, ideas and people interact.

Natalia studied geography at UBC, completing her BA in 2012. While at UBC, she had the opportunity to participate in a number of research projects, including a comparative waste management analysis for Vancouver International Airport. Natalia is also a former student in the Outdoor Recreation Management Program at Capilano University. At CapU Natalia served as the PowerWorks student intern at Capilano University and worked closely with a team of other students, faculty and staff to embed energy conservation into curriculum and campus life. She is interested in the intersections between environment, sustainability, and technology.

Natalia is known for being a resourceful coordinator and a supportive team member. She has a breadth of experience in community programs, including camp supervisor and instructor, education coordinator, and youth volleyball coach.
