Maggie is a recent graduate of the Outdoor Recreation Management diploma program at Capilano University. She is currently an employee for Cypress Mountain and Mountain Equipment Coop; in the future she hopes to start schooling towards being a sustainability consultant in Interior Design.
For most of her life Maggie has been travelling, starting in Japan when she was four years old. Since then she has been to Vietnam, Europe, Guatemala, Tanzania, and South America. Now that she is done school (for now), she is trying to plan as many trips as she can into a short amount of time!
She believes that travel leads to greater understanding of other cultures, and a deeper knowledge of global issues. Maggie is excited to continue her contribution with the CBT project and hopes that future participants will get the same amount of fulfillment as she did. In her spare time Maggie enjoys hiking, snowboarding, painting, and laughing.
