kyle legrow, student volunteer
Kyle LeGrow is currently completing his second year of his Bachelor of Tourism Management at Capilano University. Lead by his love for the mountains and mountain biking he recently moved back to Canada from Washington State, where he grew up. In Washington he volunteered his time for a non-profit organization, Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, building and maintaining sustainable trails where he was eventually hired to teach others how to sustainably build. Attending Capilano University, Kyle has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on how to sustainably operate within the tourism industry. For Kyle’s summer co-op he was hired by the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, where he received his Student Work Exchange Program certificate.
When Kyle first heard of the CBT Vietnam trip, he saw it as a way to give back and be fully immersed in another culture. He is excited to meet the people of the Lao Chai region, and is glad to finally be a part of the project!
